Mythbuntu is an Ubuntu-based distribution and live CD focused upon setting up a standalone MythTV system similar to KnoppMyth or Mythdora. It can be used to install a standalone frontend, backend, or combination machines. Apprfitto dell’uscita della terza alpha release di Mythbuntu 8.04, per parlarvi un po’ di MythTv, e delle distro, appositamente create per poter sfruttare al massimo le potenzialità di quest’ottimo software. MythTV è un’applicazione libera per Linux, pensata per permettere ad ogni computer (che soddisfi certi requisiti minimi) di funzionare come Personal Video Recorder.
