Penso che sudo sia diventato un comando ampiamente utilizzato con Ubuntu, dove non si ha nemmeno una password di root, prima probabilmente è stato utilizzato solo in alcuni centri informatici per limitare l’accesso ad alcuni comandi. sudo permette ad un utente autorizzato di eseguire un comando come super utente o un altro utente, come specificato nel file sudoers. Questo è un piccolo trucchetto che serve a modificare il tempo di memorizzazione della password di Sudo. Di default la password viene memorizzata per 15 minuti, ma se volessimo modificare questo tempo dobbiamo rivolgerci a visudo. $ sudo visudo oppure: # nano /etc/sudoers e modificare la stringa: Defaults env_reset con questa: Defaults env_reset , timestamp_timeout =X chiaramente al posto della X mettere il tempo scelto.

Sudo in Linux permette all'amministratore di sistema di concedere ad altri utenti i privilegi per eseguire una o più applicazioni a cui normalmente non avrebbero diritto.

Come al solito installabili tramite l'aggiornamento globale del sistema, oppure automaticamente se avete fatto questa scelta. In quest'ultimo caso però fate attenzione agli aggiornamenti alternativi (consigliati). Leggere atentamente prima di installarli. Non sempre sono compatibili. Certe volte mancano delle librerie.
